Olympic Weightlifting is a sport in which athletes compete in lifting a barbell loaded with weight plates from the ground to overhead, with each athlete vying to successfully lift the heaviest weights. Athletes compete in two specific ways of lifting the barbell overhead: these are the snatch and the clean and jerk.
Are youth program is for children ages 8-14 years old who want to learn the fundamentals of weightlifting. Our program will teach proper weightlifting technique; enhance athletic potential; increase power output, strength, and speed; decrease risk of injury; improve confidence and self-esteem.
Strength and conditioning is an exercise program designed to improve athletic performance by developing power, speed, strength, agility, conditioning and mobility through a combination of strength training, aerobic conditioning, and other methods.
